- Library books must be returned on time. In case of late return of books, a fine of Rs. 1/- will be charged per book for each day after the due date.
- In case a reader loses a book he/she should replace the book. In case the book cannot be replaced, the current price of the book will be paid by the borrower.

- 1.Entry in Library – Students should enter in library with their Identity card.
Enter the names in Library visit register is compulsory.
- 2.Working hours in library –
Library Timings Days Library Time Issue Time Return Time Monday To Saturday 10.00 am to 5.00 pm 11.00 am to 01.00 pm 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm Sunday Holiday 10.00 am to 2.00 pm – – During Examinations and vacation our college library functions as usual. - 3.Circulation System –Every student can get 2 books at one time on behalf of library card for 7 days.
Before receiving student should check the books condition, there shall be penalty.
The same book can’t be renewed on that day.
No book shall be returned on the day of issue.
- 4.Overdue Charge –
If the books are returned after due date then student will be fined 1rs. Per day.
- 5.Book Lost –
In case of loss of book the borrower is required to replace the book by a recent edition.
- 6.Loss of Library card –
In case of loss library card the student should report to the librarian in writing application form.
After checking the student will be issued a fresh replacement card on payment rs.50/- per card.
- 7.Validity of Library card –
Library card is valid only for current academic year.
At the end of academic year student should return /cancel the library card in the library.
- 8.NO DUES Certificate –
At the end of academic year every student should close their account & get the NO DUES Receipt.
- 9. Care of Library Books –
Students are required to handle the book/journal very carefully.
Student is punished to fined, if he/ she is found in marking with pencil, writing or highlighting, tearing the page.
Librarian may ask to return book from any student at any time and it is compulsory to return the same immediately.
- 10. Reference Section –
In this section student can use their journal, reference book for their studies to be used only in the library.
- 11.0General rules for students-
- Please maintain decorum, peace and silence within the premises of library.
- Keep your personal belongings at the Property Counter.
- Use of mobile phones is not permitted in the library.
- A person shall not write upon damage or mark any book belonging to the library.
- Personals book shall not be allowed inside the library. Please leave them at the property.
- Membership privilege if a user can be suspended on account of misbehaviour with the library staff or for indecent manners.
- Group discussion is not allowed in reading room.
- Students do not write, mark on any desk, table and chair belonging to the library.
- Do not eat in reading room. Do not dirty library reading room.
The services and facilities provided by library are as follows:
- Reference Service
Reference Service is an important service offered by the library. It also maintains a collection of reference books consisting of encyclopaedias, dictionaries, CDs.
- Book Lending Service
This service is offered to all library users. The resources borrowed from the library shall be returned on or before the due date during library working hours. Its terms and conditions are mentioned in Library Rules and Regulations.
- Open Access
It provides open access to all library users. They can browse, read the any references in the library. It helps users to make full use of the resources available in the library.
- Periodical Service
The our publications and journals are made available to the users. All the users have to read in library only.
- Library OPAC
The resources of the library have been computerized with integrated library management software that, E-granthalaya 3.0, library staff members assisting to search books, Users can search the resources by author, title, subject, key words etc.
- Current Awareness Service
Newly arrived books are displayed on the stand installed at the entrance of the library and being displayed for a week. It will be issued only after a week of display.
- College News-Paper clipping service
All newspapers are containing very important news in special edition on our college which are very useful to the readers. Depending on the usefulness of the information available in the newspaper, so that they are able to read at their convenient time.
- User Orientation
Library conducts orientation programmes for new users. beginning of the year. It is to enable them to use library resources effectively.
- Reprographic/ Photocopy Facility
The Photocopy service is provided to the users in the library, both students as well as faculty members.
- Wi-Fi Facility
The entire library is Wi-Fi enabled; users can use their configuration laptops to access in the library.
- Question Bank
Separate question bank files made available in library is for users as reference services.
- Book Bank
The main purpose of book bank facility is to help the students belonging to economically and the facility is also available for categories (SC/ST/NT/OBC) of students on first-cum-first serve basis.
4 books are issued to students for the whole Semester and taken back after the end-semester examination is over.- Journal Index Page Photocopy File Services
The Photocopy of Journal Index pages file service is provided to the users in the library, both students as well as faculty members.
HOME LENDING: The Circulation counter is kept open between 10 am to 5.30 pm on all working days of the week. Students can borrow textbook and non-textbooks from this counter for a period of seven days. Students are asked to handle the books issued to them carefully.
REFFRENCE SERVICE: The Librarian & Asst. Librarian helps the readers in finding out their queries. Readers are also provided with relevant document, which are interest to them and they are shown the technique of finding information.
BIBLOGRAPHIC SERVICE: List of books is provided to the faculty as well as students if they demand it. Also the list of new arrival is given to respective department.
OPAC: Online Public Access Catalogue has been provided to have an easy access to the collection of the library. Also the readers are helped in browsing the OPAC and Manual Catalogue has been provided for tracing out authors, titles and subjects of the library collection.
BOOK BANK FACILITY: Sets of books are given to the desiring students who hail from weaker section.
INTER LIBRARY LOAN: The college library provides inter library loan facility to its readers to cater to the extra reading needs of its readers. Following are the institutions, which are interconnected with our college library.
1) Government College of Education, Panvel.
2) Mahatma Phule Arts, Science & Commerce College, Panvel.
3) CKT College, New Panvel.
INTERNET FACILITY: The library has been providing online internet facility to search the relevant information to B. Ed. and M. Ed. students.
CDs/CASSETTES: The library has a collection of 11 CD/cassettes on various subjects. Readers can borrow them for home browsing for a period of seven days.

PHOTOCOPIES: The library has been providing photocopy facility to its readers. The library possesses a rich collection of reference and rare books that cannot be given to the readers for home reading. Readers can get a part of those documents Xeroxed at the rate of Rs.1.00/- page.
